I was in KL last year and was trying to cross two freeways to get to the national museum from the main part of the city. It was bloody scary! There were actually pedestrian bridges over the freeway but no footpaths to the bridges.

i cycle to everywhere in London as much as I can help it (sometimes even when it’s showering) because it’s faster and cheaper. In KL, I drive to everywhere even if it’s just a few hundred metres. That’s because the roads back home are not made for walking and they are very dangerous.

Yes, this is a problem. If the banana is too long, I can cut it. If the banana is too thick, then I can use the banana house at all.

Hmm…..that’s great house for banana safety case. But I’m thinking if the size of banana would be greater than the house though what happen?

The other three are chocolate, prawn and chicken.

I gave up chocolate in March last year but it’s still one of my favourite foods. Since 7 March, the only times I am allowed to eat chocolate are if someone makes a chocolate treat especially for me or if it’s part of a degaustation (or wedding) menu.

The first two weeks of the chocolate ban were hard. I thought about chocolate a lot, which proved to me I was unhealthily addicted to it. It’s a lot easier now. Easier to go cold turkey then to have a little bit. There was a while a few years ago when I allowed myself to eat chocolate that was at least 70% cocoa. It meant I ate a lot of dark chocolate.

Now I don’t think about it as much. I have lapsed a few times since March 2011 and when I do, it takes a few days for me to regain my equanimity.

Luckily, prawn, mango and chicken don’t cause me the same problems.

I was sitting in the kitchen at work and a woman came up to me.

‘I’m sorry, can I ask what’s in your banana box?’

I said, ‘A banana,’ then opened it up to show her.

‘Oh! I thought it could have been sunglasses.’
